3 ways to get a better work/life balance...

Many of us more often than not struggle each week with a healthy work/life balance. Sometimes we don't even realise how much time outside of our "work hours" we are actually working until a loved one comments. We continue to always strive for better and that can take more time than there are hours in the day,  so how are we suppose to fit everything in?

 

Although work may feel like the most important area to designate our time to, it's really not, in the bigger picture. Life is short and goes by far too quickly for many of us which is why making sure that you really "live" outside of the working day hours is so incredibly important.

 

Here are 3 ways to get a better work/life balance that you may be able to implement in to your week.

 

> Decide what hours you want to work each day and be sure that you stick to these. Setting an alarm may help or perhaps writing these hours on a board that you can see whilst working may help keep you accountable. If you se you will be home at 6pm for dinner......be home a 6pm for dinner!

 

> Create a list of daily tasks that are achievable to complete each day within the hours set. Add check boxes so you are able to tick off each task as you complete them. This will allow you to see your jobs being done and wont allow you to get side tracked doing other tasks that can wait for another day/time.

 

> Get support by hiring a virtual assistant. You may simply have too many jobs each week to be able to complete them without working within your hours set so by hiring help, even for 1 hour a day could really allow you to stress less and get everything done.
